Carol has practiced bodywork since 1998. At Sanctus Bodywork Studio in Woodbridge, she works individually with people whose tension, stiffness, and movement limitations are affecting daily life.
Every appointment is with Carol. Her approach combines hands-on connective tissue work with techniques selected for the client’s needs and comfort.
Carol’s clients include adults managing persistent stiffness, musicians dealing with the demands of practice and performance, and runners and recreational athletes returning from strenuous activity.
She also works with clients interested in somatic bodywork and offers appointments for pregnancy, postpartum, and children where appropriate.
The common starting point is a conversation: what you notice, how it affects you, and what you would like to do more comfortably.
Two people can describe the same area of tension and need different approaches. Your history, comfort with touch, position on the table, and goals all help shape the session.
