Your first visit includes an intake and a conversation about your history and goals. Mention relevant injuries, surgery, current care, or anything that may affect your comfort or suitability for bodywork.
You remain clothed for bodywork. The current approach does not use oils or lotions. Positioning can vary according to the focus of the session and your comfort.
Carol combines hands-on connective tissue work with other techniques where appropriate. You can ask questions, request a change in pressure or position, or pause the session.
Appointments are available in different lengths. Ask Carol which option makes sense for a first visit and what it will cost before scheduling.
Do I need to know which technique I want? No. Start with what you are noticing and what you would like to discuss. Carol tailors the approach to the individual.
What should I wear? You remain clothed. Ask Carol for clothing guidance when arranging your appointment.
